File Transfer

Mercury makes it easy!

We accept CAD files in a variety of programs and formats. In order of preference they are:

3-D File Type	3-D File Extension
SolidWorks	.SLDPRT
Initial Graphics Exchange	.IGES or .IGS
Acis 3D	.SAT
Parasolid	.X_T or .X_B
Autocad Drawing 3D	.DWG
Data eXchange Format	.DXF

2-D File Type	2-D File Extension
SolidWorks	.SLDPRW
Autocad Drawing	.DWG
Data eXchange Format	.DXF
Initial Graphics Exchange	.IGES or .IGS

We also work from JPEGs, TIFs, BMPs and other art file formats. Zipped files, regular files, retrieving information from FTP sites -- with Mercury, it's all about our versatility and experience.

Electronic file transfer:
Attach files to an email and direct it to engineering@mercuryplasticsinc.com. We prefer to receive files larger than 10 MB in a compressed format using a program such as WinZip. We also will accept files sent to us on a CD or a DVD.
